The Cariboo Chilcotin Métis Association in Williams Lake held a dinner in honor of Louis Riel and had the Old Time Fiddlers as entertainment through out the meal and was also honored to have world champion fiddler Calvin Vollrath come and play some good old fashion Métis music. The evenings event started off with Dr. Chris Montoya reading excerpts from Louis Riel's prayers and words while in prison shortly before his death.
