If you are in the Kamloops area, you are invited to a “Picnic in the Park” on Sunday July 14th 2024 at McArthur Island Park from noon until 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome and lunch is provided. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on and if you play a musical instrument, bring it along too and share your talent.
This event is hosted by the North Thompson Aboriginal Cultural Centre Society, Interior Métis Association, and the BC Métis Federation. When you arrive at the park, look for their banners and signs—you won’t be able to miss them.
