(Vancouver, BC) The BC Mètis Federation is pleased to announce today that the third (3rd) Annual General Meeting will be held in conjunction with an Industry Forum in Kamloops, BC this September 25th and 26th.
BC Métis Federation President Keith Henry stated, “Our board is excited to make this announcement. This third Annual General Meeting will showcase the progress of the BC Mètis Federation and will bring together Métis people and their families throughout BC to Kamloops.”
BC Métis Federation President Henry added, “Initial plans are underway and we are working to showcase key partners such as the White Buffalo Aboriginal and Métis Health Society and other local community members as part of our efforts to meet in the area over the course of the two days.”
BC Métis Federation President Henry concluded, “I strongly encourage BC Métis Federation members to attend as there are several issues of importance in advancing Section 35 Métis rights. These are exciting times and the leadership has made significant progress. The meetings will also include our second Industry Forum and there will be important information for Métis entrepreneurs and business owners as several new opportunities have been negotiated to secure business opportunities for our business community. This is an Industry Forum Métis business people do not want to miss.”
