BC Métis Federation President Henry stated, “We were proud to work with partners to feature Métis culture each year. This is our 7th year in a row supporting Métis culture at this event since 2011 and we are proud of this accomplishment.”

BC Métis Federation President Henry added, “Thank you Michif Historical and Preservation Society representatives Derrick Whiteskycloud and our team of Sherry Daniels, JJ Lavallee, Rowan Pickering, and Quinn Pickering plus many more volunteers that made this weekend such a success.”

BC Métis Federation President Henry concluded, “This year was difficult without a friend Ken Fisher, former President of the Nova Métis Heritage Association in Surrey. We are carrying on his work through these efforts, we owe this to his memory.”
