BC Metis Federation has made considerable effort to communicate to grassroots Metis people through community meetings, radio shows, etc. One of the key features of the BC Metis Federation communications plan has been the website, use of social media, and other online platforms. The BC Metis Federation has achieved remarkable success and is sharing the results of the online website report comparing October – March over the last two years for bcmetis.com. The online report demonstrates a 100% growth in unique visitors, including significant growth in areas of the website such as membership where the growth was over 75% compared to the previous year or the contact section that had over 100% growth.
