BC Métis Federation is advising members and partners that this past weekend we were invited to meet with the Federal Department of Finance representatives to speak about ideas related to the construction of the Trans Mountain Corporation (TMC) as construction carries forward.  The meeting agenda and presentation material from the Department of Finance and BC Métis Federation meeting is being shared for members to be more informed.

The Federal Department of Finance has initiated this initial step to consider future equity and revenue options for several Indigenous communities/Nations. The discussions are being held with impacted First Nations and Métis organizations/communities throughout the TMC pipeline corridor.
