The fight for our Métis member SS continues. While Provincial and Federal Government politicians state publicly that they support the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, their Ministries carry on as business as usual.

Look at this incredible situation. Since members “LM and RB” have been fighting for the rights of member SS, the British Columbia Ministry of Child and Family Development continues to dismiss the fundamental fact that there was a Métis custom adoption. Now this custom adoption was recognized in another jurisdiction and yet again the BC Government Ministry is using tax payer dollars to fight this in court.

This is outrageous.
