(Vancouver, BC) The BC Mètis Federation is releasing the 2011-2012 reporting and strategic rebuilding plan. BC Métis Federation has remained committed to full transparency and disclosure and the 2011-2012 report provides a thorough review of the work completed in the past 12 months by the founding board, communities, and volunteers.
The BC Métis Federation Rebuilding Strategic Plan document establishes a set of clear actions that will support future growth and vision. This BC Métis Federation has identified a number of specific tactics and strategies that members, statement of cooperation communities, partner organizations, and all Métis people can review to better understand the future of the organization and how people can support or participate.
BC Métis Federation President Henry stated, “I am so proud of everyone involved with the BC Mètis Federation. The work we have completed on a voluntary basis is significant. I firmly believe the BC Mètis Federation has done more with minimal resources for Mètis people than any other organization.”
BC Mètis Federation President Henry concluded, “I believe Mètis people who attend our upcoming AGM will be proud of the work completed and the vision for the future. The BC Mètis Federation will continue to grow because the Mètis people continue to want the organization to succeed!”
