BC Métis Federation President Mr. Keith Henry has been selected for the prestigious and honorary role as Ambassador during the Canada 150 celebrations.

The Ambassadors program highlights the achievements of prominent Canadians in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Mr. Keith Henry, together with 18 other Ambassadors, will have the unique opportunity to help generate forward-looking ideas and actions, by connecting with Canadians all across the country, in an effort to make 2017 a defining year for all Canadians and create positive legacies for years to come.

The vision of Canada’s 150th anniversary is to engage and inspire Canadians in their communities and to bring people together to celebrate shared values, achievements, environment and place in the world, by focusing on diversity and inclusion, reconciliation from nation to nation with Indigenous people, engagement with youth and strengthening environmental awareness.
