In light of discussions that have come out of our recent and ongoing efforts with land use, economic development and industry engagement it became apparent that we needed to review the emergency response efforts in our province and begin the process of implementing our own Emergency Response Plan.

We are pleased to publish the results of these efforts, and provide insights to both members and industry that outlines the current state of Emergency Reporting in British Columbia, challenges identified by BCMF as well as recommendations for how to implement an effective emergency response system for our members.
