Dear Ms Tina Penny

In response to your “Special Notice “ letter stating that due to in sufficient numbers of poll clerks and returning officers as the main reason there is no polling station in Williams Lake. I want to reiterate to you that our stance on the issue was stated within a letter that was sent to MNBC from The Cariboo Chilcotin Métis Association. We, the board of the Cariboo Chilcotin Métis, voted not to house a ballot box in our office due to the illegal process in which the election is being conducted. We would never stop anyone from voting and that there is a means to do so via the mail in ballot or MNBC could have rented a room and conducted their own poll station.

The main issue I have is that you are misinforming our members with the false statement of insufficient poll clerks and returning officers when in fact we choose not to house a ballot box.

Yours Truly,
Laura Lee Marshall
