The work of BC Métis Federation leadership continues to pay off. The City of Richmond has approved a proclamation identifying November 16th as Métis Day in the City.

BC Métis Federation thanks the City for the support and recognition of Métis people in Richmond as there are several hundred Métis people who reside in that city.

BC Métis Federation is following up with a number of municipalities who are also confirming support. A number of these proclamations will be posted on the website.
