(Vancouver, BC) – The BC Métis Federation leadership is scheduling meetings with a number of partner communities in British Columbia in July. The community meetings are now scheduled as follows:
- Sunday, July 5th – Surrey
- Sunday, July 19th – Prince George
- Monday, July 20th – Fort St. John/Dawson Creek
BC Métis Federation leaders are meeting with community boards and members to update on key issues including economic development, human rights case, Métis culture, and other priorities.
BC Métis Federation President Henry stated, “Our leadership include me as President and our Vice President Rene Therrien. We will also have 2 team members including Sherry Daniels and our new Executive Director for the Development Corporation Shauna Benson. We remain committed to working together with our partners and members and there are several exciting items to update. We look forward to meetings!”
