BC Métis Federation continues to ensure representatives attend the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC) to ensure safety and monitoring are paramount to the Trans Mountain Expansion of the existing pipeline.

There continues to be strong public discussions about the project and BC Métis Federation is providing input where members have asked to ensure safety.

The establishment of the IAMC is one of the ways we are working towards construction beginning on this project.

As such we encourage members and partners to review the attached update.
