Daniels Conference: In and Beyond the Law – January, 2017

The Rupertsland Centre for Métis Research in the Faculty of Native Studies, at the University of Alberta will be hosting the Daniels Conference: In and Beyond the Law on January 26, 27, and 28, 2017. The conference will explore the social and political implications of the recently decided Supreme Court of Canada Daniels decision.

The conference will bring together experts and community members to discuss the implications of the decision. It will focus more broadly on social and political impacts, as well as implications of identity, membership, and registration.

The Conference will include panel discussions, roundtables, and keynote presenters and will be live streamed (broadcast live) for those who are unable to attend in person.
