Re: Employment Survey – Proposed Kinder Morgan Canada Trans Mountain Expansion Project

Attention Members and Partner Communities,

In keeping with the spirit of the Kinder Morgan Canada (KMC) and BC Métis Federation’s signed “Mutual Benefit Agreement” signed in 2014, BC Metis Federation is taking the next step in securing future possible procurement and employment opportunities for our members. A new Project Coordinator has been identified and we are pleased to announce that Angel Fisher has joined the BC Metis Federation team and will take the lead in fulfilling this project role.

Over the course of the next two months Angel will be contacting members via phone and email within the proposed Trans Mountain pipeline expansion spreads (Valemont, Clearwater, Kamloops, Merritt, and the Lower Mainland) to assess qualifications, employment skills, and interest in employment and procurement for Métis businesses in the project. The final assessment will be shared with KMC and future strategies developed to bring forward future employment and procurement opportunities.

BC Métis Federation members are also encouraged to register themselves on www.transmountain.com/jobs to be included on e-mail updates in regards to employment opportunities with the project. For more information on the project we encourage to please visit www.transmountain.com.

Please feel free to contact our offices for more information regarding this project. Angel can be reached at the head office number 1-604-638-7220.

Thank you for your time and future participation/responses.

Respectfully,

Keith Henry

President
