BC Métis Federation is pleased to share the latest update from the Federal Minister of Environment regarding the review of the Canadian Environmental Assessment processes related to projects.
BC Métis Federation provided a presentation about our views and it appears our voice, on behalf of our members, continues to be heard.
It remains unclear how future Federal legislation might change the environmental processes and the role or rights of Métis, however the BC Métis Federation leadership and consultation office will continue to monitor.
