Former Métis Leader in Saskatchewan Fights for 60’s Scoop Métis Impact

The BC Métis Federation is sharing the efforts of former Métis Nation of Saskatchewan President Robert Doucette to address the personal impacts of the 60s scoop on himself and his family.

Robert made significant efforts to address the issue with the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) in November 2017. Reviewing the documents below, readers will see his concerns about how current Métis organizations are trying to address this serious issue.

This is a very significant matter and we urge Métis people to read the documents and understand the importance of who is providing you Métis representation and the lack of justice for Métis.

Sadly the CHRC has proven itself ineffective yet again.
