(Vancouver, BC) On Saturday June 11th, 2011 the CCMC Métis Gathering entitled A New Beginning will convene at 9:30 AM. The Métis Gathering is open to all Métis people in British Columbia to attend the creation of new democratic organization to provide a viable alternative to govern the educational, political, cultural, and financial future for Métis people. Elders, youth, women and families will join together in support of one transparent and debt free governing body called the BC Métis Federation (BCMF).
