(Vancouver, BC) The BC Metis Federation’s newly formed Metis Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has just signed on to its first formal joint venture with DOMCOR Projects Inc. (DOMCOR) as a strategic partnership. DOMCOR specializes with industry focus on safety, security, first aid, traffic control, training and all protection services for a variety commercial industries.
“We are very pleased to be working with a company who will be engaged with us and looking at our qualified Métis businesses and individuals to help move forward in attaining a successful bid” says Shauna Benson, MEDC Executive Director.
BC Métis Federation President Keith Henry added, “BC Métis Federation has been working on solidifying this working relationship and others in various sectors over the past few months and are seeing great results. We want to show how the Métis businesses can prosper as we work together to form a better Métis future in our province and across the country to truly become self sufficient. We are looking to have all Métis communities and businesses come forward with us, to work together to achieve economic prosperity, as well as to support Métis cultural activities. Finding the right partners to help us achieve our goals is key.”
