BC Métis Federation and the Skeena River Métis Community Association, one of the partner communities of the BC Métis Federation, are celebrating the success of their 6th Métis Music Festival where an estimated 200 people attended over the weekend at Thornhill Community Hall in Terrace, British Columbia.

BC Métis Federation President Keith Henry stated; “Thank you to the SRMCA leadership, volunteers, and performers for the collective work this weekend. There were several exciting performers, exceptional food services, camping, and fun for everyone all weekend. A very special thank you to SRMCA President Elizabeth Pearce and their leadership locally in Terrace such as Rosanne Pearce, Rene Therrien, Chris Swanson, Wendy Ross, Alan Sauvé, others for their teamwork to ensure a successful event.”
