(Vancouver, BC) It was billed as a Métis Gathering but if you asked any of the 73 people who took the time and expense to attend or the 1134 province wide online viewers, an all-time record shattering online audience, they would call it “A New Beginning” for a people who desperately want to have proper Métis representation and be proud of their Nation.

There were many historic firsts that took place during the Métis Gathering; the huge crowd that took in the meeting (online and in person) and the momentous occasion of the signing of a Statement of Cooperation between the newly minted BCMF and the Kelly Lake Métis Settlement Society (KLMSS).
