BC Metis Federation has sent a letter to Federal Minister of Employment and Social Development, Honourable Jason Kenney to address the latest issue affecting Metis people approved by MPCBC staff for ASETS funding.
The most recent case sheds light on one of the most significant examples of ASETS mismanagement with an individuals approved over a year ago yet funding is still outstanding.
BC Metis Federation has a copy of several documents from the individual who is beyond frustrated after going through the MPCBC process which included resending receipts several times, resigning contracts and adjustments made several times, embarrassment at the institution with late payments, etc.
The BC Metis Federation will continue their fight for justice and MPCBC must be held accountable for such extreme cases of mismanagement.
