Former Prince George Metis Community Association (PGMCA) board member Patrick Pocha has released a letter he sent to the current and improper PGMCA President Tom Spence earlier today. His letter is a response to a letter Mr. Spence sent out after Mr. Pocha had resigned in June of 2012. Mr. Pocha’s letter is very revealing about the lengths Mr. Spence is willing to go and the BC Metis Federation can see the interference by MNBC and their legal counsel all over the unwarranted attack on Mr. Pocha sent only after he resigned.
Today MNBC is floundering about, no updates about the sale of school, significant increase to the overall MNBC debt last year only realized after the MNBC General Election in September, small voter turnout, support for the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines Project, and more that we have yet to truly hear. A major reason why MNBC continues to spiral a slow corporate death is because of these type of undemocratic situation that MNBC has pushed on communities time and time again.
BC Metis Federation congratulates Patrick for standing up and informing the Metis people about the lengths MNBC and their supporters will go. This is not the Metis way and is a sad reflection of insecure individuals in our Nation that will use any means to maintain control.
