BC Métis Federation leadership is sharing final documentation that has been completed as a result of ongoing consultation for our members on the Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) Project.
Natural Resources Canada is finalizing an updated report as required by recent legal rulings. The documentation was created as a result of BC Métis Federation community gatherings, TMX project meetings, recent TMX forum information and ongoing communications. This recent engagement between the Government of Canada via Natural Resources Canada was completed in an effort to address National Energy Board and Federal Court conditions.
The Federal Government is expected to make their decision on whether to proceed with TMX based on additional information, including BC Métis Federation’s, by June 18th.
