BC Metis Federation attended the Vancouver Metis Citizens Society meeting this past weekend where President Russ Roy announced his resignation for personal reasons. Vancouver Metis Citizens Society represents over 500 Metis people in the Vancouver area and the current Vice President Ron Paradis will act as the President until their next AGM in May 2013.

BC Metis Federation thanks outgoing President Russ Roy for his years of dedication and work to assist his community in Vancouver. We wish him well in all of his future work.
