(Vancouver, BC) Vancouver Métis Cultural Society (VMCS) Interim President Russ Roy has written a letter to MNBC President Bruce Dumont, MNBC Vice President Dave Hodgson and all thirty six (36) Presidents of BC Métis Chartered Communities to address misleading statements made by Bruce Dumont in the current MNBC Debt Recovery Plan that is posted on the MNBC website.
Mr. Roy points to Dumont’s recent MNBC website posting under the headline “An Important message from the President” in which he states ““During our annual general meeting, last September, we were mandated to develop a Deficit Recovery Plan. A DRP was introduced at our Métis Nation Governing Assembly in February 2011. After careful consideration of the risks and opportunities involved, you’re Métis Community Presidents and board of Directors gave the DRP overwhelming approval”
