Sullivan: Chinook Jargon is linked with the history of British Columbia.

The BCMF researchers found an interesting older video by Sam Sullivan on Chinook Jargon as part of a revival project of the history of British Columbia.
This was a language of the Pacific Northwest and a trade language used by Indigenous people, including Metis, as well as non-indigenous people.
