Métis in BC are some of the most underrepresented and marginalized peoples in the province. Initial data suggests that Métis people suffer disproportionately from homelessness and housing insecurity.

The BC Métis Federation (BCMF) is pleased to announce a new, one-year capacity project engaging in housing and homelessness issues. Titled Métis at Home Capacity Project, it seeks to build a unique community inventory through a community-based approach, using an Indigenous research methodology.

BCMF is looking for local people or teams who are interested in homelessness and housing insecurity issues and want to get involved in doing research in their communities.
