NTACCS Hosts Meaningful Moose Hide Campaign Gathering

On Thursday, May 15th, BCMF and the North Thompson Aboriginal Cultural Centre Society (NTACCS) hosted a Moose Hide Campaign Gathering in Clearwater.

Attendees came together for an afternoon of education, reflection, and solidarity in the ongoing fight to end violence against Indigenous women and children. The event welcomed guests with light refreshments, door prizes, and a series of meaningful activities that supported the national Moose Hide Campaign’s mission.

Attendees were invited to explore informative displays, listen to powerful personal stories, and engage in heartfelt conversations about the impacts of gender-based violence, particularly the disproportionate rates faced by Indigenous women and girls.

The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots initiative that continues to grow in strength across the country, promoting healing, accountability, and safety through education and public engagement. BCMF and NTACCS were honoured to contribute to this movement and are grateful to everyone who joined the gathering in Clearwater.
