National Indigenous Persons Day

Saturday, June 21st, is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to honour and celebrate the cultures, histories, and contributions of Métis, First Nations, and Inuit peoples across Canada.

BCMF encourages all members to participate in local events, ceremonies, and gatherings taking place throughout the weekend. Whether through music, food, language, or storytelling, these celebrations are a powerful reminder of the strength and diversity of Indigenous communities.
