On Sunday, June 22, the BC Métis Federation and the Métis Association of Central Okanagan hosted a special hands-on beadwork workshop in West Kelowna.

Led by Kathy Williams, a 7th-generation Nuu-Chah-Nulth carver and expert beader, participants were guided through the tools and techniques needed to create their own beaded earrings. The workshop provided a welcoming space for creativity, learning, and cultural connection.
