Old Fort Métis Nation is hosting a ribbon skirt making workshop to honour their elders. Join them for refreshments, kinship, and culture! Volunteers are welcome!
This workshop will be specifically for those Old Fort Métis Nation members who have a Métis Elder in their life who does not or cannot make themselves a ribbon skirt, or for Old Fort Métis Nation members that do not have a ribbon skirt.
- Fort Nelson Aboriginal Friendship Centre (5012 49 Ave)
- Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Participants limited to 6 due to availability of sewing machines
- $50 registration fee
- Old Fort Métis Nation members will be prioritized
