Join BCMF and the Métis Association of Central Okanagan (MACO) on Family Day to help kick off Heritage Week festivities in Kelowna. This year’s Heritage Week theme, Pastimes in Past Times, celebrates the many ways people spent their leisure time throughout history and explores how these activities have contributed to the cultural fabric of today.
MACO will have a dedicated table at the Kelowna Community Sports Centre (4105 Gordon Drive), where visitors can learn about and celebrate Métis culture. The event will run on February 17th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
