The BC Métis Federation invites you to a Métis Movie Matinee on Saturday, February 1st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the BCMF office in Vancouver (3665 Kingsway Suite 390). Door prizes, complimentary popcorn, snacks and refreshments will be provided as attendees watch the 50-minute film “How the Fiddle Flows“.
Narrated by award-winning actress Tantoo Cardinal, the film How the Fiddle Flows offers an insightful exploration of how a distinctive Métis identity and culture were shaped over time. The film showcases the contributions of some of Canada’s most celebrated fiddlers and step dancers and provides a moving portrayal of the Métis experience.
