BCMF is pleased to share an upcoming cultural event hosted by our partner community, the Nova Métis Heritage Association (NOVA). NOVA will be holding a Métis Stories Workshop on December 14, 2025, from 1:45 PM to 4:15 PM at the Surrey Libraries – Cloverdale Branch.
This introductory workshop invites participants to explore personal and family stories while learning practical storytelling tools. The session encourages Métis community members to build confidence in sharing their stories and to contribute to a renewed oral and written history. Seasonal refreshments, door prizes, and time to connect with others will be included.
