You are invited to attend two private screenings of the “True Story” documentary series at the BC Métis Federation office in Vancouver. After each screening there will be a facilitated discussion where thoughts and opinions can be shared.

True Story sheds light on the history between Indigenous and settler people as told by Indigenous voices, relying on oral history. This historical journey is heartbreaking, but also uplifting, and full of light. The resilience of Indigenous peoples shines through in their humour, which can be dark and cheeky, something that True Story embraces.
