As a part of the BC Métis Federation’s Women’s Programming, BCMF and the Métis Association of Central Okanagan are hosting a Relationship Awareness Workshop on Saturday, January 25th, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

This event will be held at Emmanuel Church (2600 Hebert Rd), and will help you gain insight into the dynamics of abusive behaviour and learn to prioritize your emotional well-being by:

• Identifying early warning signs of unhealthy relationships
• Understanding the underlying factors contributing to abusive behaviour
• Help participants make informed decisions about their relationships

Presenter

Lisa Matyszewski is a Training & Development Specialist at the BC Society of Transition Houses. She works from an intersectional feminist and trauma-informed lens, and is passionate about promoting relationships that foster respect and dignity.
