BC Métis Federation project team was warmly welcomed to Terrace this past Saturday as the first community meeting to assist the organization address Michif Language, Métis Land and Life Project and Coast Guard Community Preparedness Response.
Three BC Métis Federation project teams were warmly welcomed to Terrace on Saturday for the first community engagement Métis meeting with the Skeena River Metis Community Association. Local Métis community liaison Elizabeth Pearce and community members showed their hospitality and people were excited about sharing their knowledge and participating in activities in the three projects;
- Canadian Coast Guard Community Preparedness Response
- Michif Language Revitalization and
- Métis Land and Life
