BC Métis Federation leaders are sharing a report completed this week related to engagement with Transport Canada and the impacts of changes to Métis people under Bill C-69.
There are serious challenges with the proposed amendments in our view for our Métis members, which includes:
- Lack of Notice
- Lack of Consultation
- Lack of Environmental Protections
BC Métis Federation will be submitting the complete report to Transport Canada after final board review and approval, expected May 2nd.
