On October 2nd, CanGas Propane welcomed BCMF Director of Research Joe Desjarlais to deliver a presentation about the BC Métis Federation and his Métis journey.

In the spirit of reconciliation, CanGas staff wore orange shirts and took the time to listen and learn as Joe Desjarlais spoke about Métis history, culture, and perspectives. To quote GasCan Propane: “We were grateful to learn ways in which we can promote understanding, respect, and encourage kinship”. BCMF hopes more businesses and organizations reach out for presentations like this one.
