A warm welcome to Marla Klyne, who is joining BCMF’s Culture & Language team as the new Mentor Apprentice Program (MAP) Coordinator. She will be supporting the Michif-French program and ensuring the MAP pilot is a success.

Marla is Métis on her father’s side and Norwegian/Scottish/Irish/English on her mother’s side. Her family names are Klyne, Garrioch, Chartrand, Sadler and Sherven. She has spent her career working in community in the areas of counselling and education and is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Simon Fraser University.
