BC Métis Federation has been supporting Métis economic development in a variety of ways this past few years.  Today the organization is pleased to announce the successful winning bid with Metis business NFE Manufacturing as the Trans Mountain Expansion project continues construction.

BC Métis Federation is one of the Indigenous partners competing for procurement and employment opportunities on the Trans Mountain Expansion project for members and qualified Métis businesses.  Over the course of the past few years, BC Métis Federation has been creating a list of recognized Métis businesses and partners to prepare for procurement opportunities.  Many of these partners recently attended the BC Métis Federation Trans Mountain Expansion Forum in May in Surrey to better align with project partners.
