Métis Culture Celebrated in Terrace

(Terrace, BC) – BC Métis Federation and the Skeena River Métis Community Association, one of the partner communities of the BC Métis Federation, are once again celebrating the success of their 2ndAnnual Métis Music Festival that was held over the weekend at Thornhill Community Hall in Terrace, British Columbia. 

BC Métis Federation President Keith Henry stated; “Thank you to the SRMCA leadership, volunteers, and performers for the collective work this weekend! There were a number of excellent performers including Country Calibre, Country and Stuff, Skeena North, Blackwater Express, Just for Fun, The Other Guys, Mustang Heart, and Métis fiddler and BC Métis Federation Vice President Rene Therrien. Thank you to SRMCA President Elizabeth Pearce and others for their team work to ensure a successful event.”
