On July 27, BCMF was proud to host a Métis Heritage Meet & Greet in Vancouver.

Attendees donned their ribbon shirts, skirts and sashes and enjoyed delicious bannock and other treats baked by Donna Duncan of “The Bannock Queen Bakery.”

“These meet and greets are a special opportunity to connect with each other and take pride in our culture,” said Danielle Desjarlais, Community Coordinator. “It was so heartwarming to see members of all ages come together and enjoy an afternoon of celebration.”
