The BC Métis Federation honours Orange Shirt Day and the hard-won advances Indigenous people have made toward truth and reconciliation in this country. Despite the steps made towards a brighter future for all, the legacy of colonial harm and intergenerational trauma continues. That is why BCMF will never stop advocating for the celebration of Métis culture and upholding Métis traditions and values.
