The Orange Sash Campaign

The Meaning of The Orange Sash

Each of the colours within this sash have significant meaning behind them.

The black and white in the centre represents the dark past and the children that have been discovered and unearthed.

The yellow and orange on the other hand signify the good and light in our people and that even though this is a dark time, the light is surrounding us and helping us move forward together and heal.

The red and blue represents our flags and our colours.

Green on the outside represents Mother Earth to remind us, we are people of the earth and it is our job to stay strong and protect her, for she provides all our needs last but not least the orange is a reminder that “Every Child Matters”.
