On Saturday, March 22nd, the BC Métis Federation and the Métis Association of Central Okanagan held a Medicine Bag Workshop in West Kelowna.

In this 2-hour, hands-on workshop, participants crafted their own traditional leather medicine bag to hold traditional medicines, tobacco, and other treasured items. Participants were provided with the necessary tools, materials, and guidance in order to create the medicine bags. This Medicine Bag Workshop had a terrific turnout, with the event reaching its maximum number of attendees.
