On Saturday, May 3rd, the BC Métis Federation’s Conservation Department and the Métis Association of Central Okanagan (MACO) hosted a W.A.S.P. Wildfire Protection Kits pick-up in Kelowna.

The Conservation Department visited the Métis Association of Central Okanagan (MACO), where they connected with members and delivered 30 wildfire protection kits to BCMF and MACO community members. It was a meaningful day that included time for conversation, relationship-building, and sharing important resources to help protect homes and the land.
