A Memorable Métis Movie Matinee!

On Saturday, February 1st, the Greater Vancouver Métis Association and the BC Métis Federation hosted a Métis Movie Matinee in Vancouver.

The event had a great turnout and provided attendees with a memorable evening as they gathered to watch the 50-minute film “How the Fiddle Flows.” The screening, which included door prizes and complimentary popcorn, snacks, and refreshments, offered an engaging atmosphere for all who attended, creating an evening celebrating culture, art, and community.

Narrated by the award-winning actress Tantoo Cardinal, How the Fiddle Flows took viewers on an insightful journey through the Métis’ rich history and cultural evolution. The film also showcased the contributions of some of Canada’s most celebrated fiddlers and step dancers.
